이 제품은 모든 송수신 메시지를 검사 합니다. 메시지 본문, 압축 파일을 포함한 첨부 파일, 첨부 메시지, 내장된 OLE 객체 등을 검사합니다. 바이러스는 수신된 메시지로부터 제거 될 수 있으며 다음번 안티 바이러스 업데이트 시 재 검사 될 수 있습니다. 이와 같은 검사는 백그라운드에서 실행되거나 또는 사용자의 요청에 의해서 실행됩니다.
유연한 옵션 기능
다양한 환경 설정 옵션이 가능 합니다. 감염된 메시지는 차단될 수 있으며, 감염된 객체는 메시지로부터 제거 될 수 있으며 또는 원래의 메시지에 악성코드가 포함 되어 있다는 경고 메시지가 추가되어 원래의 형태대로 배달 될 수도 있습니다.

시스템 퍼포먼스를 촉진하기 위해 이 제품은 복수의 안티 바이러스 엔진이 실행되어 메일메시지를 검사합니다. 시스템 관리자는 사용되는 엔진의 숫자를 설정하여 시스템 퍼포먼스를 최적화합니다. 카스퍼스키 안티 바이러스는 MS Exchange Server 클러스터 기술을 지원하므로 대규모 기업 및 조직의 메일 시스템에서도 효과적으로 사용될 수 있습니다.

- 5 GB recommended disk space for storing objects in backup
- Kaspersky Security Server hardware requirements are identical to the requirements of Microsoft Exchange Server. The amount of disk space required depends on the application settings and its mode of operation. Provision must be made for backup storage and other service folders, where the default size of the backup storage folder can be up to 5120 MB.
